QUE VER

Chateau

Tourists find the most impressive place at the castle, the second largest castle area in the Czech Republic (the largest being Prague castle), where the castle interior is well worth seeing. From the St. Vitus's Church tower is also very impressive view over the unique scenery of Renaissance buildings, which is made even more spectacular by the Vltava River, which weaves its way through the town. The baroque castle theatre is dated to the last decade of the 17th century and it received its look in the year 1766 from the Joseph Adam von Schwarzenberg. Then the theatre went through some reconstruction and at present belongs to the nicest theatres in our republic.
